NBS manufactures high-quality graphics and aftermarket parts for the vending, cooler and fountain industry. Our extensive customer base includes Coca-Cola, Keurig Dr Pepper, Cott Beverages, PepsiCo and many more. We also service the OEM industry with customers such as Dixie Narco, Royal Vendors, Sanden Vendo, Frigoglass, QBD, IDW, Habco, and True.
William Roberson along with the help of his mother, Virginia Roberson, started NBS in October of 1984 with a handful of employees and a few printing presses. At that time, the company was based in Pompano Beach, Florida.
Our original name was National Beverage Suppliers. In December 1986, to better identify with our customer needs, the name was changed to National Beverage Screen Printers. Since that time, we have diversified our business and seek new markets within the beverage and food service industry. Due to the evolving nature of our business we have now shortened the name of our company to simply NBS.
During 1989, it was decided that the business climate in South Florida was not conducive to maintaining a profitable manufacturing facility. The decision was made to relocate and although several states were investigated as possible relocation sites, the state of South Carolina was chosen due to the economic climate and diverse workforce. So, we closed our Florida facility and moved all operations to Williston, South Carolina.
In July of 2004, AQA International certified NBS in ISO 14001 making NBS the only screen printer in South Carolina to be environmentally certified. NBS followed that certification in August of 2003 with the International Quality System Standard ISO 9001 and Q9001-2000 certification.
Since 1991, NBS has had three building expansions and currently has a workforce of approximately 50 employees. The county of Barnwell and the State of South Carolina honored NBS as Economic Ambassadors in 2005 for its creation of much needed employment in the area.
NBS has been dedicated to our customers since 1984 and we are thankful of their support they have shown our organization over the last three decades.
